Terms of Service

1. Project Kickoff & Communication

• Assets & Direction: Before editing begins, please provide all necessary materials (raw footage, logos, brand assets) via Google Drive, along with a clear visual reference (such as a link to a Reel or video style you like). This ensures we are fully aligned from day one.

• Raw Footage Limits: Standard pricing applies to standard raw footage lengths. If a project requires sifting through hours of unedited video (like a long podcast) just to find a 30-second clip, an extra culling fee may apply.

• Working Hours: I review feedback and reply to messages during standard working hours. If you send footage or requests late at untime or over the weekend, I will jump on them the next working day.

2. Timelines & Availability

• Flexible Delivery: All work is project-based and scheduled around my current availability. While I always strive to deliver polished videos as quickly as possible, all delivery timelines are estimates.

• Delays: Slight delays may occasionally happen depending on overall workload, project complexity, or delayed feedback.

3. Revisions & Deliverables

• Two Free Rounds: Every video includes 2 free rounds of revisions for minor adjustments (e.g., text tweaks, basic cuts, or glitch effects).

• Consolidated Feedback: To keep the process fast, please send all your revision requests in one single message or list. One consolidated list equals one "round." and please mention the timestamps on
  eg. 10:35 add text 'Subscribe', 10:50 reduce the music volume

• Major Changes: Complete overhauls (like changing the core music, motion graphics, or color grading) after the initial 2 rounds will be considered extra work and billed accordingly.

• Final Delivery: You will receive the final, fully polished video in .MP4 format. I do not share raw project files (Premiere Pro/After Effects), source files, or individual graphic assets.

4. Payments

• Standard Terms: Invoices will be sent for completed and approved work. All payments must be cleared via UPI or Bank Transfer within 3 days of receiving the invoice.

• New Clients: For our very first project together, a 100% upfront payment is required before editing begins. This secures your spot in my queue and establishes mutual trust.

• Late Payments: If an invoice remains unpaid past the 3-day window, any ongoing editing work for your future videos will be automatically paused until the balance is cleared. There are no hidden fines or interest charges.

5. Archiving & Storage

• 21-Day Backup: I will keep your raw files, project files, and final videos safely stored on my system for 21 days after final delivery.

• Permanent Deletion: After 21 days, old project folders are permanently deleted to clear drive space. Please make sure to download and safely back up your videos to your own drives immediately upon delivery!

6. Ownership, Copyright & Portfolio

• Transfer of Rights: Once the video is fully paid for, you own the full rights to distribute, post, and monetize the final .MP4 video.

• Copyright Disclaimer: I use standard, safe practices for audio and visual editing, but I am not responsible for platform-specific copyright claims or strikes (e.g., Instagram/TikTok audio restrictions) that happen after you publish the video.

• Portfolio Usage: I reserve the right to share the final, published video on my personal/agency Instagram, website, or portfolio to showcase my work.

• Teaching & Techniques: I retain full creative ownership of my unique editing techniques. I reserve the right to break down, reuse, or teach the specific visual effects and animations I create and post on social media.

7. Confidentiality & Disclaimers

• Data Safety: Your unreleased footage, project details, and business information are completely safe. I will never leak or share private data or unreleased videos with any third parties.

• Performance Disclaimer: My job is to provide top-tier creative and technical video editing. I do not guarantee specific platform results, such as view counts, virality, follower growth, or engagement, as these depend entirely on the algorithm and your overall content strategy.

8. Cancellations

• Freedom to Pause: Both the editor and the agency/client have the right to pause or cancel this working arrangement at any time.

• Payment on Cancellation: If the partnership is paused or canceled, you simply agree to clear the payment for any videos or editing work that has already been completed up to that exact point.
